Happy St. Patrick's Day! Did anyone catch a leprechaun? Share about your leprechaun experiences in the comments below!
Check out some of the awesome plans and traps that were created! Keep scrolling past the photos for today's lesson.

Ireland is a beautiful country with lots of bright green nature. Check out some pictures of Ireland below.
Let's go on a scavenger hunt. Choose a room in your house. How many green things can you find in that room? Get out your notebook. Each time you find something green, put a check mark on your page. When you have found all of the green things, count up your check marks. Write the total number on your page!
Check out this counting video about green shamrocks!
Shamrocks are symbols for "luck". But God gives us luck everyday; we call these blessings! I wonder...what blessing are you feeling from God today? Draw and write about it in your notebook. I am feeling blessed that I have 18 preschool buddies! Thank you God for that blessing!
Finally, if you have play dough (or want to make some with the recipe below), let's create some numbers, letters, or shapes out of play dough.
Try these:

Here is a recipe for green mint play dough you could make with a grown up!
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/2 TB vegetable oil
1 tsp cream of tartar (this makes it last longer, but is not necessary)
Drops of peppermint flavoring (optional)
Green food coloring
1 cup water
1. Combine dry ingredients in pot and mix.
2. Add oil, food coloring, peppermint flavor and water. Stir.
3. Cook on stove over medium heat until a ball is formed and mixture becomes dry.
4. Let cool and knead.
5. Store in an airtight container.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
